Premier Edition for PC/Mac Coming July 29


I'm happy to announce the new edition of Lifeless Planet will be released in just over two weeks. The Premier Edition includes new original music, visual updates, and new audio and text logs, and more. And for current owners of the PC/Mac versions, it's a free update!

In addition to the updates and additions, we also fixed a number of bugs and issues from the earlier versions. This will be the last major update to the game, but of course if we find critical issues we will continue to support the game in the future.

Thanks as always for your patience. I'm really excited to bring you this new version... very soon!

    Right now, I asked myself what happened to the announced Premier Edition and here I read that it should arrive today! That's a wonderful surprise! I'm really looking forward to play the new version of your fascinating game! It never really left my mind since I've played it, the atmosphere left some really strong and long lasting impressions on my mind. :)

    Amazing game, David. Kudos for making it on your own - this as exciting as the game itself. I've learned about the Lifeless Planet a few months ago, and two days ago it was M birthday, and so I decided to make a present to myself by buying the premium version straight from your site.

    Thank you a lot from an old sci-fi fan.

    Oh, and thanks for the inspiration; building software on your own is truly hard, and finishing it is way, way harder than starting the project. I know that from my own experience.

    Well, I bought the game from the Humble store, and I'm glad I did. It's beautiful. Discovering I get the Premier edition free is wonderful. Downloading it again on my Mac from Steam! Thanks for creating such a thought-provoking beautiful game, and for giving the update away for free to us.
